In September 2008, 2,193 imported motor vehicles, among which 1,475 new motor vehicles and 718 in-used motor vehicles; 7,378 new motorcycles and 1,261 working machineries were carried out with quality inspection and certification by VR.
97 types of assembled motor vehicles, 23 types of motorcycles had been certified; 129 types of assembled motor vehicles, 21 types of motorcycles were carried out with quality inspection and certification.
31 samples of motor vehicles, 70 samples of motorbikes, 74 samples of motor vehicle's components and 5 samples of materials were tested by VR.
