Motor vehicle and railway vehicle certification activities

In the first four months of 2008, 410,036 vehicles were carried out with quality inspection by VR. 25,286 imported motor vehicles were carried out with quality inspection and certification by VR, including 18,339 new motor vehicles and 6,947 in-used ones.
70,433 new motorcycles and 8,025 working construction machineries were inspected.
55 cargo wagon, 423 passenger cars, 55 locomotives, 26 lifting appliances and 89 pressure vessels for railway vehicle had been periodically inspected by VR.
