Motor Vehicle Inspection Activities in October 2011

From 1 Oct. to 31 Oct. 2011, 159,642 motor vehicles were inspected throughout the country, in which the number of vehicles passed technical safety and environment standard was 127,562, equivalent to 79.88% and the number of vehicles failed – 32,120, equivalent to 20.12%.

​​Over the same period in 2010, the number of inspected vehicles increased 21,641 vehicles, equivalent to 15.68% (in Oct. 2010, number of inspected vehicles was 138,001 vehicles) The rate of vehicles that failed in the first time of inspection was 23.32%, equivalent to 29,879 vehicles.

The failed breakdown was:

  • Braking system: 53.7 %;
  • Driving system: 31.3 %;
  • Emission: 51.4%;
  • Tire: 11.5%.

Over the same period in 2010, the number of vehicles failed due to emission was lower 0.20% (in Sep. 2010 was 51.60%).
